The Sho-Air Cycling Group is proud to announce the creation of the USAC USCUP-CX for 2017. In order to bring a national series to the US cyclocross scene and to compliment the successful US Cup-MTB series, we have partnered with four extremely respected and long standing events on the cross calendar.

These four rounds will create a seven-race series, highlighting USA cyclocross and awarding the top male and female racers with a combined $20,000 overall series championship payout.

We are excited to bring a high-level national series back to the USA giving racers a series to focus on and fans a point chase they can to follow. With equal prize money at all events as well as equal payout for the series championship, the US Cup aimes to add credibility and media coverage to this cohesive series.

“We really saw a need for some type of national CX series where a overall championship was on the line”, explained US Cup founder R. Scott Tedro. “This series will give fans and riders alike something to follow, while still allowing racers with World Cup aspirations to pursue their goals. We really wanted to showcase the talented men and women here in North America while putting some extra money in their pockets.”
